Iberia

Iberia is the flag carrier airline of Spain, headquartered in Madrid. Founded on June 28, 1927, by Horacio Echevarrieta and Deutsche Luft Hansa, the airline is one of the oldest in the world. It is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance and is part of the International Airlines Group (IAG) along with British Airways.

Iberia operates a large international network, with its main hub at Madrid–Barajas Airport. The airline is known for its extensive flight services to Latin America, and in 1946, it became the first airline to fly between Europe and South America after World War II. Throughout its history, Iberia has played a key role in connecting Spain with the rest of the world.
